Background

We develop and build quality Software Systems, primarily for Manufacturing and Distribution.

We come from Marine Engineering and Computing backgrounds and are university educated. We have many years experience in Manufacturing Technology and Systems, and specialize in the practical application of Information Technologies. We solve real problems, extend capabilities and enable growth.

Building I.T. systems to serve Manufacturing / Distribution is our sole business.

With a thorough understanding of both Manufacturing and Systems Technologies, we can offer our Customers efficient, practical and comprehensive I.T. system solutions.

What you can expect

A careful and comprehensive study of your Manufacturing Process or Business System

Documentation that makes sense to you - see the Wikipedia entries for:

These documents, together with additional specification and quotation documents, fully describe the system being developed

Implementation and testing carried out in a professional manner - completed to an agreed time schedule

Modeling

Why is modelling so important?

Any Software system is an abstraction of a real life system - an assembly of Systems, Sub-Systems and Components

The system or sub-system being modeled might be anything: Inventory Systems, Manufacturing Processes, Machine Outputs, Line Outputs, Weighscale or Counter Outputs, RFID or BarCoding Systems

It seems obvious coming from a manufacturing background that you wouldn't attempt to build anything like a complex system without constructing a model first

Ideas are important of course, but you don't build anything just using the contents of your head.

With us - System Modeling comes first - and system model documents, whether in the UML (Unified Modeling Language) or BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) are used to construct the system
